May 6, 47 0 0. Hello folks, I just put together a new system, but am having problems getting good airflow through my CM Stacker SE and I need it because I have a thermalright ultra Extreme heat sink so if my interior case temp is high then the heat sink ain't gonna help!

So here are my issues: The case comes stock with an intake bottom front and exhaust mid-rear. I can only fits two mm fans into the side bracket because the thermalright heatsink goes straight up to the side and a fan won't fit.

Also, my power cables for my 2 video cards stick out into where a fourth fan on the side should be so I have two side fans going at rpm about cfm each. I got the intake in the front also rpm i think and i got the exhaust.

There is a top fan slot for another exhaust which I made use of, adding another mm rpm fan so I have two exhasts top mid and rear mid. And I also added another intake, above the bottom front so I have bottom front and bottom-mid intakes and mid-rear, mid top exhausts and 2 side fan intakes.

Now I have a power supply, and at first I mounted it so it cools downward, but I'm thinking if I have a PSU cooling downward and right in front if it I have an exhaust, it doesn't make any sense. So I'm thinking of switching the PSU to blow up as another exhaust. That's a pretty beefy fan, beefier than the other fans I have in the case. Then I have 2 more mm fans attached to my heat sink, both blowing up towards the top 1 intake, 1 exhaust.

So for the case, I have 4 mm rpm fans 2 front 2 side for exhaust, I have 3 fans, 2 mm and 1 huge PSU fan, 1 back, 2 top. Does this sound like a good build? The computer market is literally flooded with computer cases, from the conventional desktop style case to the stylish SFF enclosures for home entertainment systems and of course my "personal favorite", tacky cases. You know what I'm talking about - those cases that look like faces, robots, and have oodles of plastic doodads that try to look "super special" but end up looking like bad sci-fi television props.

Thank god there are also sane manufacturers who design cases more for usability than just to grab unnecessary attention. Cooler Master truly is one of the case "masters" and its designs are always well received.

It's also clear that Cooler Master has the respect of its peers when hardware manufacturers use its products to demo the latest and greatest technologies. What sets Cooler Master apart from the rest of the market are well thought out internal designs. The Cooler Master Stacker series of cases has been with us for quite some time, now it's evolving once again.

That's large enough for whatever you want to stick into your computer, even multiple videocards. This is a big case The Stacker SE gets its "Stacker" name due to the nine open 5. That's a lot of space for devices! Internally there are four hidden 3.

Pros: It's huge. One little feature I love is the portable motherboard tray that you can open from the back. Makes it a heck of a lot easier to plug in cables externally then put it back in the case.

This case is designed for a high-end computer. The airflow is amazing. Cons: There is another stacker that does NOT have a glass-view on the side. In my opinion, that stacker has a better airflow because you can get better airflow from the 4 fans on the side. But this case looks better with the glass, so I had to go with this one just for the looks.

Besides, the airflow is already excellent. Overall Review: If you are spending a high-end computer and you don't want to buy an expensive case like this, you will regret it. This thing will last you years. Will recommend this case for PCs costing anything higher than The plastic side panel prevents good ventilation so i just took my plastic off until i order the vented side Hard drives are hard to get to and install The tool-less install does NOT work Cooler Master customer service sucks, I called, rep got an attitude with me, etc etc The generation 3 trays that come with this case are a pain to get PCI cards in, they have sent revision 3 trays to people for free, but like i said, their customer service is NOT GOOD cooler master if your reading this Overall Review: aside from that though it is an attractive case and i dont regret getting it.

Pros: This case is very large with plenty of space for everything. It also runs quiet and it's design makes putting your hardware in a breeze. If you are looking for a large case then this is your best bet. Even with all the fans installed it's still very quiet. Cons: No book included and you have to hit up the manufacturers website to find it. This is not a huge issue but without the book you're really going to have to tinker with this case to figure it out.

Overall Review: The four fans not included on the side can be whatever size you want within reason. There are brackets that allow you you to put in four mm fans without screws but the brackets can be removed and screws could be used to place smaller or slightly larger fans inside. Front fan included has blue LEDs if matching colors matters to you. Pros: 1. Lots of space for fans, its a large case 2. Cheaper than mesh sided stacker or nvidia edition 3. Looks better than mesh in my opinion 4. All case lights came working, nothing broken 5.

Cons: 1.
