There are times when a chord is debatable — especially when wrong notes are played. Most the note for note published transcriptions of jazz piano I have seen are really bad. It annoys me that there are so many poor arrangements and transcriptions circulating on the internet. This music is so wonderful it brought tears to my eyes playing it though. Recently I checked through some transcriptions of piano rolls Gershwin made of his own songs. These were made by Gershwin by enthusiasts whose work I found on the internet.

Disappointingly, most were poor. I corrected practically all of them. Midi files have been made from optical scans of these these rolls in order to preserve their information.
